Long time, no see! I figured I’d restart posting poetry on this Substack with some unpublished old poems I wrote ages ago. It’s just going to be a random collection of unedited poems. I struggle with perfectionism when it comes to my art, so this is going to be great exposure therapy for me. I need to get comfortable with making bad art, being messy, and letting shit go. So without further ado, I present a bunch of subjectively bad art...

Is my life too easy?
Am I prepared for real hardship and struggle?
I cry when I make a little mistake
I grow hopeless when things don’t go my way

Lost and clueless
I wander
Looking for newness
Another lover

Where do I go?
Who do I believe?
So much I don’t know
Am I really being naive?

Sailing with no destination
No captain, no rudder, no anchor
I drift through the clouds
Where my mind tends to be
Creating new plans
Mapping the sea
